In order to celebrate the National Day, enrich the cultural and sports life of employees, enhance corporate cohesion, and promote team spirit, the group company has decided to hold this event. The competition rules are as follows:
1. Competition Time: September 21-27, 2016. The opening ceremony will be held at 13:30 on September 21.
2. Competition Venue: Third floor of the West Factory Complex Building.
3. Competition Event: Team Table Tennis Competition.
4. Competition Organization:
1) An organizing committee is established for this competition:

5. Participation Method:
1) Feiyuan Chemical Group will form 4 teams, Feiyuan Technology Group 2 teams, and Feiyuan New Materials Group 1 team. Participating units can register 1-2 referees.
2) Each team can register 1 team leader and 3 athletes, with no gender restrictions.
3) Athlete Qualification: Must be current employees of Feiyuan companies.
6. Competition Method:
1) This competition will follow the latest "Table Tennis Competition Rules" approved by the General Administration of Sport of China. It will adopt a best-of-five system (five singles matches), with each match being best-of-three games and 11-point system.
2) A point system will be used, with the winner of each match earning 2 points and the loser 1 point; the team with the highest points will be ranked first, and so on. In case of a tie, the ranking will be determined by the win-loss ratio between the two teams, game win-loss ratio, and point win-loss ratio in that order.
3) There are a total of 7 teams, with 21 matches in a single round-robin format, divided into 7 rounds, with 3 matches per round and one team having a bye. Each team will play a total of six matches.
4) Participating teams will be numbered A, B, C, D, E, F, G by drawing lots. The secretariat will prepare the match schedule and score sheet based on the numbers.
5) According to the rules, before the match, the home and away teams will be determined by drawing lots. The home team's three athletes will be numbered ①, ②, ③; the away team's three athletes will be numbered ④, ⑤, ⑥. The match order is: ① vs ④, ② vs ⑤, ③ vs ⑥, ① vs ⑤, ② vs ④.
6) Determination of Serve and Side: Before the match, both sides will decide by flipping a coin. The winner has the priority to choose serve or side.
7) Serve Change and Side Change: Starting from the first serve, after two consecutive serves, the serve will switch to the opponent; after each game, both sides will switch sides, and the serve will also change; if the serving side hits the ball to the net and it lands on the opponent's side, it will not count, and the serving side will serve again.
8) Rest: Each side can take one timeout per game, but not exceeding 30 seconds; after each game, both sides have the right to rest, but not exceeding 2 minutes.
7. Awards:
First Place: Trophy + 600 yuan
Second Place: Trophy + 500 yuan
Third Place: Trophy + 400 yuan
Excellent Organization Award: Trophy + 300 yuan
All participants (including team leaders) will receive a commemorative prize.
8. Registration Date and Location:
Participating units must submit the list of participants to the secretariat by 15:00 on September 20, 2016.
9. Competition Discipline:
1) This competition will adhere to the principles of fairness, openness, and justice. Players must obey the referee's decisions. Arguing with or insulting the referee is strictly prohibited. Violators will not only lose the match but may also face factory-wide notification and penalties depending on the severity of the situation.
2) Participants must arrive at the venue 10 minutes early to sign in. Being late by more than 10 minutes will result in a forfeit of the match.
3) Referees and staff have the right to verify the eligibility of athletes. Those who refuse verification or do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to compete.
4) All personnel entering the competition venue (including referees, athletes, team leaders, staff, and spectators) must wear sports shoes. Those wearing leather shoes will be denied entry by the staff.
5) After the competition, participating teams must assist in cleaning the venue.
