The "20th National Annual Conference on Specialty Gases", hosted by Zhonghao Bright Chemical Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. and the National Specialty Gas Information Station, and organized by the editorial department of "Cryogenics and Specialty Gases", was held in Guilin from November 9 to 12, 2016. Industry professionals from various regions gathered together to explore the current status and trends of specialty gas technology both domestically and internationally, and to discuss the development prospects of specialty gas technology.
Mr. Sun Funan, Chief Engineer and Executive Vice Chairman of Zhonghao Bright Chemical Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd., delivered the opening speech. The conference officially commenced with warm applause, followed by speeches from Mr. Ma Jianwu, President of the Guangdong Gas Association, Researcher Li Chunying from the National Institute of Metrology, Mr. Chen Rong, Deputy Director of the National Chemical Industry Gas Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Ms. Zhou Pengyun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Gas Standards Committee of Southwest Chemical Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd., and leaders from the Zhejiang Quzhou National High-Tech Zone and the Jiangsu Pizhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.
