1. Emergency Response to Nitrogen Trifluoride Leakage

Quickly evacuate personnel from the leakage contaminated area to the upwind side and isolate the area, strictly restricting access. Cut off the ignition source. Emergency responders are advised to wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and general work clothing. Try to cut off the leakage source as much as possible. Provide reasonable ventilation to accelerate diffusion. Handle the leaking container properly, repair and inspect it before reuse.

  2. Protective Measures

Respiratory protection: When the concentration in the air is high, wear a self-priming filter-type gas mask (half mask). Eye protection: Wear chemical safety goggles.

Body protection: Wear anti-chemical penetration work clothes. Hand protection: Wear rubber gloves.

Others: Smoking is strictly prohibited at the work site. Maintain good hygiene habits.

  3. First Aid Measures

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse with running water. If burns occur, seek medical treatment. Eye contact: Immediately lift the eyelid and rinse with running water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

Inhalation: Quickly move the person to fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract clear. If breathing is difficult, provide oxygen. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.

Fire extinguishing methods: Firefighters must wear full-body fireproof and anti-toxic suits. Cut off the gas source. Spray water to cool the container, and if possible, move the container from the fire scene to an open area. Fire extinguishing agents: Water mist, foam.
